Steven Harper, Wilderness Guide and Workshop Leader
www.stevenkharper.com
Steven Harper was a unique client in that he had six websites already - he is an active blogger and has three different blogs, as well as a site for his artwork, a site for his facilitation work and a site for his wilderness guide and workshop work. He came to Birdwing Designs with very specific requests:
- A custom-designed website that matched his other blogs in look and feel;
- A re-organized site that would allow workshop participants to easily find information;
- Tasteful incorporation his Big Sur wilderness photos into the site headers;
- A search-engine friendly site and tips to improve his rankings with top search engines; &
- The capacity to easily update content on his own with Adobe Contribute so he wouldn't be dependent upon consultants to keep the site up-to-date.
Steven has been enthusiastically making edits and updates to his site ever since, adding workshops as soon as they are announced and updating his content to include search engine keywords.
From the Client:
"Lisa has a rare combination of technical computer skills and the ability to listen, communicate, and work collaboratively with her clients. I wanted a website that reflected my personal sense of design and the ability to add and change content at will without having to wait for a website administrator to make changes for me. Working with Adobe Contribute I have a site that is compatible with the popular browsers and I can make the content changes I want, when I want. Lisa was a patient and willing coach in helping me design the site and in learning the skills I needed to maintain it on my own."
