Linda Engelman :: Site Manager
Long before there was a World Wide Web, Linda began her foray into the world of the Internet. More than a decade ago, she authored a college textbook called “Interacting on the Internet.” Later, when the Web came along, Linda learned HTML programming, and offered Web site development to companies throughout the Bay Area. For several years, she was a columnist for the computing section of the San Jose Mercury News, and for Internet World Magazine, writing about all of the excitement of the new online world.
Linda has taught all levels of HTML programming, and Web site project management at colleges, adult education programs, and privately for corporations. She also established and taught a community college class that matched student teams with non-profits, in order to provide Web sites to organizations that couldn’t otherwise afford them.
Linda lives and works in the East Bay. When she’s not programming and designing Web sites, she also maintains a part-time practice as a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist. She is passionate about this work, and enjoys the balance it brings to her life. Having two very different careers allows her to bring both right-brain and left-brain creativity to all of her clients.
